Steel transport / Coil transport
Coil transport requires a certain degree of experience and skill in transport, partly because transporting large coils of steel will never stop being a challenge. Thanks to our ample experience with this type of transport, we know exactly what it takes! Our trailers are equipped with a special coil duct, so you can be sure that your cargo will reach its destination safe & sound.
Ferliner has its own fleet of expandable (coil) tautliners, so there’s no steel transport job out there that we can’t handle. Typical tautliners have a maximum load width of 2.45 metres, but we can also transport steel sheets and/or beams that are more than 2.5 metres wide!
